Expectations

1. Make a personal contribution.

Each board member is required make a financial contribution of meaningful size at the beginning of every year. This can range from just $100 to over a thousand dollars. Your contribution allows you to vote (in-person or remotely), as well as provide your verbal input on board decisions.

2. Share networks and open doors.

Each board member should be willing to share their list of contacts, helping you to identify new friends for 100 Tigers. Be creative in reaching out to partners and challenge oneself, such as: Make one new introduction per month.

3. Be a good advocate.

Each board member should talk about 100 Tigers with anyone who is interested, sharing their passion. Again, be responsible for one relationship building activity per month.

4. Invite others to contribute.

Each board member should ask people to make a contribution. Each board member plays a key role in enlisting others to give. They realize that they’re not limited to the names assigned on the spreadsheet. We understand that we MUST make a strong effort to bring people to the website by sharing the web address (www.100tigers.com) and utilize email, text and face-to-face solicitations.

5. Say thank you.

Each board member should be willing to make calls and send thank you letters to your top donors. They should also thank donors in-person whenever possible and appropriate.

6. Actively participate at all meetings and positive attitude.

Each board member is expected to attend meetings, contribute to the discussion, remain positive and share the good news of the work this board is doing.

At anytime during the year, board members can be removed by majority vote. Additionally, more rules can be added or existing rules can be modified with a vote by majority of board members.
